NOTE TO PATIENTS WITH EFFECT FROM 5 JANUARY 2026
Due to severe staff shortages clinics at our branch sites are being reduced.
With effect from Monday 5th January 2026 Blakelaw surgery will open every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and the Denton Road branch will be open every Tuesday and Friday. The main branch at Westerhope is unaffected and will operate as normal.
This change has been agreed with Northeast and Cumbria ICB who continue to support the practice during this time.
Telephone lines are unaffected as is our remote triage request system. Extra telephone clinics have been put on to deal with demand during this period.
The practice thanks you for your understanding during this period.
